The Kerala Government Nurses Association (KGNA) has launched a protest against the government’s decision to outsource nursing appointments to a private agency. The move affects recruitments in the PMSSY blocks of Kozhikode and Alappuzha Medical Colleges. The government issued an order regarding the outsourcing on May 21. Following this, the KGNA submitted a memorandum demanding that the decision be withdrawn.
നഴ്സിങ് നിയമനം സ്വകാര്യ ഏജൻസിയെ ഏൽപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള സർക്കാർ നീക്കത്തിന് എതിരെ പ്രതിഷേധവുമായി നഴ്സുമാരുടെ സംഘടനയായ കെ.ജി.എൻ.എ. കോഴിക്കോട്, ആലപ്പുഴ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജുകളിലെ പി.എം.എസ്.എസ്.വൈ ബ്ലോക്കുകളിലെ നിയമനം ഔട്സോഴ്സ് ചെയ്യാനാണ് സർക്കാർ തീരുമാനം. മെയ് 21ന് സർക്കാർ ഇത് സംബന്ധിച്ച് ഉത്തരവ് പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിരുന്നു. പിന്നാലെ ഈ നീക്കം പിൻവലിക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് കെ.ജി.എൻ.എ സർക്കാരിന് നിവേദനം നൽകി. പുതിയ വേക്കൻസികളിലേയ്ക്ക് തസ്തികകൾ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച് നിയമനം നടത്തണമെന്നാണ് സംഘടനയുടെ ആവശ്യം. എന്നാൽ നിവേദനത്തിലെ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ സർക്കാർ തള്ളി. ഇതോടെ ജൂലൈ 11ന് ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ ഉന്നയിച്ച് കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഓഫീസിലേയ്ക്ക് മാർച്ച് നടത്താനാണ് കെ.ജി.എൻ.എയുടെ തീരുമാനം.
