യുവതിയുടെ വയറ്റിയിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്തെടുത്തത് 23 കിലോ ഭാരമുള്ള മുഴ

A 23-kilogram ovarian tumor was surgically removed from the abdomen of a young woman through a complex operation at the Mother and Child Care Centre of Kozhikode Medical College.
The removed tumor measured 45 centimeters in length and 45 centimeters in width. The surgery lasted for two hours. Hospital authorities stated that the patient is recovering well.

The 25-year-old woman sought medical treatment after experiencing unexplained abdominal swelling. Health Minister Veena George congratulated the medical college team that performed the surgery.

കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിലെ മാതൃ-ശിശു സംരക്ഷണ കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ വച്ച് സങ്കീർണ ശസ്ത്രക്രിയയിലൂടെ യുവതിയുടെ വയറ്റിൽ നിന്നും 23 കിലോ ഭാരമുള്ള അണ്ഡാശയ മുഴ നീക്കം ചെയ്തു. നീക്കം ചെയ്ത മുഴയ്ക്ക് 45 സെന്റീമീറ്റർ നീളവും 45 സെന്റീമീറ്റർ വീതിയുമുണ്ട്. രണ്ടു മണിക്കൂർ നീണ്ട ശസ്ത്രക്രിയയിലൂടെയാണ് ഇത് നീക്കം ചെയ്തത്. രോഗി സുഖം പ്രാപിച്ചു വരുന്നതായി ആശുപത്രി അധികൃതർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. 25 വയസുള്ള യുവതി അകാരണമായി വയർ വീർത്തതിനെ തുടർന്നാണ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ചികിത്സ തേടിയത്. ശസ്ത്രക്രിയ നടത്തിയ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിലെ ടീമിനെ ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി വീണാ ജോർജ് അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
