Health Minister Veena George stated that Karunyasparsham Project, launched by the State Health Department, is a highly helpful and comforting initiative for cancer patients and their families. It has now completed one year since its launch, offering cancer medicines at the lowest prices in the country.
In the first phase, Karunyasparsham counters were started at 14 selected Karunya pharmacies. The relief provided to the public through this government programme is significant. With the strong support from the people, these counters have now been expanded to 72 Karunya pharmacies across the state.
A total of 247 branded oncology medicines are available through this project. Health Minister Veena George mentioned on her Facebook page that cancer medicines are available here at a considerably lower price compared to the general market.
കാൻസർ രോഗികൾക്കും കുടുംബങ്ങൾക്കും ഏറെ സഹായകരവും ആശ്വാസകരവുമാകുന്ന പദ്ധതിയാണ് സംസ്ഥാന ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പ് ആരംഭിച്ച കാരുണ്യസ്പർശം പ്രോജക്ട് എന്ന് ആരോഗ്യമന്ത്രി വീണ ജോർജ്. രാജ്യത്തെ ഏറ്റവും കുറഞ്ഞ വിലക്ക് കാൻസർ മരുന്നുകൾ ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്ന ഈ പ്രോജക്ട് ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ട് ഒരു വർഷം പിന്നിടുന്നു. ആദ്യഘട്ടത്തിൽ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത 14 കാരുണ്യ ഫാർമസികളിലാണ് കാരുണ്യ സ്പർശം കൗണ്ടറുകൾ ആരംഭിച്ചത്. സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാരിന്റെ ഈ പദ്ധതിയിലൂടെ ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ലഭിക്കുന്ന ആശ്വാസം വലുതാണ് . ജനങ്ങൾ നൽകിയ പിന്തുണയിൽ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് 72 കാരുണ്യ ഫാർമസികളിലേക്ക് കാരുണ്യസ്പർശം കൗണ്ടറുകൾ വ്യാപിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 247 ബ്രാൻഡഡ് ഓങ്കോളജി മരുന്നുകൾ ആണ് ഇവിടെ നിന്ന് ലഭ്യമാകുക. പൊതുമാർക്കറ്റിനേക്കാൾ ഗണ്യമായ വിലക്കുറവിലാണ് ഇവിടെ കാൻസർ മരുന്നുകൾ ലഭിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് ആരോഗ്യമന്ത്രി വീണ ജോർജ് തന്റെ ഫേസ്ബുക്പേജിലൂടെ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
