The Central Government’s scheme “Cashless Treatment of Road Accident Victims – 2025”, which provides free treatment of up to ₹1.5 lakhs for those injured in road accidents on public roads, came into effect on Monday. The benefits of the scheme are available for up to seven days following an accident. Treatment will be available in government and private hospitals listed under the scheme. In Kerala, treatment will be completely free in 643 hospitals that are empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Those seeking care in other private hospitals will receive free treatment until their condition is stabilized. Thereafter, patients must continue treatment in empanelled hospitals to avail further benefits. This initiative by the central government is considered a crucial step and is expected to benefit lakhs of people.
പൊതുറോഡുകളില് വാഹനാപകടത്തില് പരിക്കേല്ക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് ഒന്നര ലക്ഷം രൂപവരെ സൗജന്യ ചികിത്സ ഒരുക്കുന്ന കേന്ദ്ര സര്ക്കാര് പദ്ധതിയായ ‘കാഷ്ലെസ് ട്രീറ്റ്മെന്റ് ഓഫ് റോഡ് ആക്സിഡന്റ് വിക്ടിംസ് സ്കീം – 2025’ എന്ന പദ്ധതി തിങ്കളാഴ്ച മുതല് നിലവില് വന്നു. അപകടമുണ്ടായി ഏഴ് ദിവസംവരെയാണ് പദ്ധതിയുടെ ആനുകൂല്യം ലഭിക്കുക. പദ്ധതിയുടെ പട്ടികയില് ഉള്പ്പെട്ട സര്ക്കാര്, സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രികളിലാണ് ചികിത്സ ലഭിക്കുക. കേരളത്തില് ആയുഷ്മാന് ഭാരത് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ആരോഗ്യ പദ്ധതിയില് എംപാനല് ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള 643 ആശുപത്രികളില് ചികിത്സ സൗജന്യമായി ലഭിക്കും. മറ്റ് സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രികളില് ചികിത്സ തേടുന്നവര്ക്ക് അപകട നില തരണം ചെയ്യുന്നതുവരെയുള്ള ചികിത്സ സൗജന്യമായിരിക്കും. തുടര്ന്ന് പരിക്കേറ്റവര് പദ്ധതിയില് ഉള്പ്പെട്ട ആശുപത്രികളില് തുടര് ചികിത്സ തേടേണ്ടതാണ്. വളരെ നിര്ണായകവും ലക്ഷക്കണക്കിന് ആളുകള്ക്ക് ഉപകാരപ്പെടുന്നതുമായ നടപടിയായാണ് ഈ കേന്ദ്ര സര്ക്കാര് പദ്ധതിയെ പൊതുസമൂഹം വിലയിരുത്തുന്നത്.
