The government has decided to implement a unified working hours system in the nursing sector. According to the order, all employees, including nurses, in private hospitals across the state must follow the 6-6-12 shift system, regardless of the number of beds. Previously, this shift system was applicable only in hospitals with 100 or more beds. With this decision, nurses in private hospitals will now have the same shift schedule as those in government hospitals. The order also states that if nurses work extra hours, they must be paid overtime allowances. This rule applies to all employees in private hospitals.
നഴ്സിങ് തൊഴിൽ മേഖലകളിൽ ഏകീകൃത തൊഴിൽ സമയം നടപ്പാക്കാൻ സർക്കാർ തീരുമാനം. കിടക്കകളുടെ എണ്ണം നോക്കാതെ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രികളിൽ നഴ്സുമാർ ഉൾപ്പെടെ എല്ലാ ജീവനക്കാർക്കും 6-6 – 12 ഷിഫ്റ്റ് സമ്പ്രദായം നടപ്പാക്കണമെന്നാണ് സർക്കാർ ഉത്തരവ്. 100ഓ അതിന് മുകളിലോ കിടക്കകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ആശുപത്രികളിൽ മാത്രമായിരുന്നു ഈ ഷിഫ്റ്റ് സമ്പ്രദായം നിലവിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. ഇതോടെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രികളിലും സർക്കാർ ആശുപത്രികളിലും നഴ്സുമാർക്ക് ഒരേ ഷിഫ്റ്റ് നടപ്പിലാകും. നഴ്സുമാർ അധിക സമയം ജോലി ചെയ്താൽ, ഓവർടൈം അലവൻസ് നൽകണം. എല്ലാ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രി ജീവനക്കാർക്കും ഇത് ബാധകമാണെന്നും ഉത്തരവിൽ നിർദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നു.
