Kerala ranks fourth in NITI Aayog’s Health Index. Though Kerala secured the top position in five out of the 11 indicators considered for the NITI Aayog rating, it faced setbacks in areas such as disease prevention, home deliveries, and the rise in unscientific treatment practices. The new data was released amidst ongoing discussions about the growth of the state’s health sector. Kerala retained the top position in five categories: maternal mortality ratio, under-five mortality rate, HIV infection rate, life expectancy, and density of healthcare workers.
നീതി ആയോഗിന്റെ ആരോഗ്യ ക്ഷേമ സൂചികയിൽ കേരളം നാലാം സ്ഥാനത്ത്. നീതി ആയോഗ് റേറ്റിങിനായി കണക്കാക്കുന്ന 11 സൂചകങ്ങളിൽ അഞ്ചെണ്ണത്തിനും കേരളം ഒന്നാമത് എത്തിയെങ്കിലും രോഗ പ്രതിരോധം, വീടുകളിലെ പ്രസവം, ആശാസ്ത്രീയമായ ചികിത്സാ രീതികളുടെ വർധന എന്നിവയാണ് തിരിച്ചടിയായത്. സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ആരോഗ്യ മേഖലയുടെ വളർച്ചയെ കുറിച്ച് വലിയ ചർച്ചകൾ പുരോഗമിക്കുന്നിതിനിടെ ആയിരുന്നു പുതിയ കണക്കുകൾ പുറത്തുവരുന്നത്. മാതൃമരണ അനുപാതം, 5 വയസ്സിന് താഴെയുള്ളവരുടെ മരണനിരക്ക്, എച്ച്‌ഐവി അണുബാധ, ആയുർദൈർഘ്യം, ആരോഗ്യ പ്രവർത്തകരുടെ സാന്ദ്രത എന്നീ അഞ്ച് വിഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ കേരളം ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനം നിലനിർത്തിയാതായാണ് റിപ്പോർട്ട്.
