Health Minister Veena George has announced the launch of a centralized software, Blood Bank Traceability Application, to provide real-time information on the availability of blood units. The project is being implemented by the Health Department in collaboration with K-DISC, Kerala State AIDS Control Society, Blood Transfusion Council, and e-Health.
Authorities stated that the initiative also aims to achieve the critical goal of 100% voluntary blood donation in the coming years. The application will help visualize the availability of blood across Kerala on a single platform and ensure uniform safety and care standards for everyone.
രക്ത യൂണിറ്റുകളുടെ ലഭ്യതയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള തത്സമയ വിവരങ്ങൾ അറിയാനായി കേന്ദ്രീകൃത സോഫ്റ്റ് വെയർ ‘ബ്ലഡ്ബാങ്ക് ട്രേസബിലിറ്റി ആപ്ലിക്കേഷൻ’ സജ്ജമാക്കുന്നതായി ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി വീണാ ജോർജ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി .ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ കെ-ഡിസ്‌ക്, കേരള സംസ്ഥാന എയ്ഡ്സ് കൺട്രോൾ സൊസൈറ്റി, ബ്ലഡ് ട്രാൻസ്ഫ്യൂഷൻ കൗൺസിൽ, ഇ ഹെൽത്ത് എന്നിവ ചേർന്നാണ് പദ്ധതി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നത്. വരുന്ന വർഷങ്ങളിൽ 100 ശതമാനം സന്നദ്ധ രക്തദാനം എന്ന സുപ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യം കൈവരിക്കാനും ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നതായി അധികൃതർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. കേരളത്തിൽ ലഭ്യമായ രക്തം ഒരൊറ്റ പ്ലാറ്റ്ഫോമിൽ ദൃശ്യമാക്കുന്നതിനും എല്ലാവർക്കും ഒരേ നിലവാരത്തിലുള്ള സുരക്ഷയും പരിചരണവും ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതിനും ഇതിലൂടെ സഹായിക്കും. ഈ മാസം മുതൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജനറൽ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പരീക്ഷണാടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ ബ്ലഡ്ബാങ്ക് ട്രേസബിലിറ്റി ആപ്ലിക്കേഷൻ പദ്ധതി ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതായാണ് റിപ്പോർട്ട്.
