New Leadership for Telemedicine Society of India – Kerala Chapter
With the vision of strengthening the healthcare sector through digital technology, the Kerala Chapter of the Telemedicine Society of India (TSI) has assumed new leadership. Dr. Vivek Nambiar, Head of the Stroke Medicine Department at Amrita Hospital, Kochi, and former Vice President of the Chapter, has taken charge as the new President.
At a leadership transition event held at Amrita Hospital, Kochi, IMA State President Dr. Srivilasan and outgoing TSI Kerala Chapter President Dr. Prem Nair were felicitated.
The newly elected seven-member Executive Committee under the leadership of Dr. Vivek Nambiar was introduced by the newly appointed Secretary of the Kerala Chapter, Dr. Nitha Panicker. Dr. Rashmi Ayesha from KIMS Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, assumed charge as Vice President.
Other members of the new Executive Committee include Dr. C. Sreekumar, Dr. Pradeep Thomas, Kevin Devasia, and Binu Mahith, all from Amrita Hospital, Kochi. TSI founding executive committee member Dr. Raghavan was honored with a shawl by Dr. Prem Nair.
Dr. Beena K. V. highlighted the telemedicine initiatives undertaken at Amrita Hospital in collaboration with IMA and TSI. TSI founding member, former President, and former ISRO Director L. S. Sathya Moorthy extended his wishes during the ceremony.
Dr. Vidya Jha, Dr. Rupa Paulose, Dr. Sibi Gopinath, Dr. Gopal Pillai, and Dr. L. S. Sathya Moorthy were also present at the function. TSI Kerala Chapter Vice President Dr. Rashmi Ayesha delivered the vote of thanks.
ഡിജിറ്റല്‍ സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യയുടെ പിന്തുണയോടെ ആരോഗ്യമേഖലയെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന ടെലിമെഡിസിന്‍ സൊസൈറ്റി ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ കേരളാ ചാപ്റ്ററിന്റെ പുതിയ നേതൃത്വം ചുമതലയേറ്റു. ചാപ്റ്റര്‍ മുന്‍ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ആയിരുന്ന കൊച്ചി അമൃത ആശുപത്രിയിലെ സ്‌ട്രോക്ക് മെഡിസിന്‍ വിഭാഗം മേധാവി ഡോ. വിവേക് നമ്പ്യാര്‍ ആണ് ചാപ്റ്ററിന്റെ പുതിയ പ്രസിഡന്റ്. കൊച്ചി അമൃത ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ നടന്ന നേതൃമാറ്റ ചടങ്ങില്‍ ഐ. എം.എ സംസ്ഥാന പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഡോ. ശ്രീവിലാസന്‍, ടെലിമെഡിസിന്‍ സൊസൈറ്റി ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ കേരള ചാപ്റ്റര്‍ ഔട്ട് ഗോയിംഗ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഡോ. പ്രേം നായരെ ആദരിച്ചു.
ഡോ. വിവേക് നമ്പ്യാരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള പുതിയ 7 അംഗ എക്‌സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് കമ്മിറ്റിയെ നിയുക്ത കേരള ചാപ്റ്റര്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി ഡോ. നിത പണിക്കര്‍ ചടങ്ങില്‍ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തി. തിരുവനന്തപുരം കിംസ് ആശുപത്രിയിലെ രശ്മി ആയിഷ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റായും ചുമതല ഏറ്റു. കൊച്ചി അമൃത ആശുപത്രിയിലെ ഡോ. സി ശ്രീകുമാര്‍, ഡോ. പ്രദീപ് തോമസ്, കെവിന്‍ ദേവസ്യ, ബിനു മാഹിത് എന്നിവരാണ് പുതിയ എക്‌സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് കമ്മിറ്റിയിലെ മറ്റ് അംഗങ്ങള്‍. ടിഎസ്‌ഐ സ്ഥാപക എക്‌സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗം ഡോ. രാഘവനെ ഡോ. പ്രേം നായര്‍ പൊന്നാടയണിയിച്ചു.
ഐഎംഎയുടെയും ടെലിമെഡിസിന്‍ സൊസൈറ്റി ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെയും സഹകരണത്തോടെ കൊച്ചി അമൃത ആശുപത്രി ടെലിമെഡിസിന്‍ രംഗത്ത് നടത്തിയ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ ഡോ. ബീന കെ വി ചടങ്ങില്‍ വിശദീകരിച്ചു. ടി എസ് ഐ യുടെ സ്ഥാപകാംഗവും മുന്‍പ്രസിഡന്റും , ISRO റിട്ട. ഡയറക്ടറുമായ എല്‍ എസ് സത്യമൂര്‍ത്തി ചടങ്ങില്‍ ആശംസകള്‍അറിയിച്ചു. ഡോ. വിദ്യ ഝാ, ഡോ. രൂപ പൗലോസ്, ഡോ. സിബി ഗോപിനാഥ്, ഡോ. ഗോപാല്‍ പിള്ള, ഡോ. എല്‍ എസ് സത്യമൂര്‍ത്തി എന്നിവര്‍ ചടങ്ങില്‍ സംബന്ധിച്ചു. ടിഎസ്‌ഐ കേരളാ ചാപ്റ്റര്‍ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് രശ്മി ആയിഷ ചടങ്ങില്‍ നന്ദി പ്രകാശനംനടത്തി.
