രണ്ടുവയസ്സുകാരൻ വിഴുങ്ങിയത് അഞ്ചുബാറ്ററികൾ, ജീവൻ രക്ഷിച്ച് ഡോക്ടർമാർ

Doctors Muppen’s Medical College saved the life of a two-year-old child who swallowed batteries. The rescue operation was led by the Gastroenterology Department. The child, a native of Sultan Bathery, swallowed the batteries of a toy while playing. As soon as the family noticed the child putting the batteries in his mouth, they immediately rushed him to the hospital. The batteries were safely removed through an endoscopic procedure performed by Gastroenterology specialist Dr. Suryanarayana. Hospital authorities stated that the child’s current health condition is satisfactory.

ബാറ്ററികൾ വിഴുങ്ങിയ രണ്ടുവയസ്സുകാരന്റെ ജീവൻ രക്ഷിച്ച് ഡോ. മൂപ്പൻസ് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ്. ഗാസ്‌ട്രോ എൻറോളജി വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലായിരുന്നു രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനം. സുൽത്താൻബത്തേരി സ്വദേശിയായ കുട്ടി കളിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ കളിപ്പാട്ടത്തിന്റെ ബാറ്ററികൾ വായിലിട്ടതാണ് അപകടത്തിന് കാരണമായത്. ബാറ്ററികൾ വായിലിടുന്നത് കണ്ടതോടെ വീട്ടുകാർ കുട്ടിയെ ഉടൻതന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചു . ഗാസ്‌ട്രോ എൻറോളജി വിഭാഗം സ്പെഷ്യലിസ്റ്റ് ഡോ. സൂര്യനാരായണ നടത്തിയ എൻഡോസ്കോപ്പി നടപടിയിലൂടെയാണ് ബാറ്ററികൾ സുരക്ഷിതമായി പുറത്തെടുത്തത്. വനിലവിൽ കുട്ടിയുടെ ആരോഗ്യനില തൃപ്തികരമാണെന്നും ആശുപത്രി അധികൃതർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
