Yellow alert is in place for Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Wayanad districts. Heavy rainfall is likely across the state on Saturday and Sunday. Considering this situation, an orange alert has been declared across the state on Sunday. The public is advised to remain alert.
