All cancer patients traveling for chemotherapy or radiation treatment to any hospital in the state can now travel free of cost on all KSRTC buses — from ordinary to super-fast services.
Applications can be submitted through the official KSRTC portal keralartcit.com

Applicants must upload the following:
A passport-size photo
A copy of the Aadhaar card
Proof of current residential address
A medical certificate issued by an oncologist in the format provided on the website
All submitted documents must be clear, valid, and in the prescribed file format.
If any information provided is found to be false, the issued travel card will be canceled, and legal action will be taken.
Once the application is verified and approved, an RFID card will be delivered to the applicant’s home through the respective unit officer, who must confirm the delivery and return the signed receipt to the Chief Office.
This initiative by KSRTC is viewed as a compassionate move to ease the financial burden of travel for cancer patients undergoing treatment.
കാന്‍സര്‍ രോഗികള്‍ക്ക് സൗജന്യ യാത്രയുമായി കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സി. സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ എല്ലാ ആശുപത്രികളിലും കീമോതെറാപ്പി, റേഡിയേഷന്‍ ചികിത്സാ ആവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി യാത്രചെയ്യുന്ന കാന്‍സര്‍ രോഗികള്‍ക്ക് കെഎസ്ആര്‍ടിസി ഓര്‍ഡിനറി മുതല്‍ സൂപ്പര്‍ ഫാസ്റ്റ് വരെയുള്ള എല്ലാ ബസുകളിലും ഇനി യാത്ര സൗജന്യമായിരിക്കും. /keralartcit.com എന്ന കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സിയുടെ ഔദ്യോഗിക പോര്‍ട്ടലിലൂടെ ഇതിനായി അപേക്ഷ സമര്‍പ്പിക്കാം. അപേക്ഷയോടൊപ്പം പാസ്പോര്‍ട്ട് സൈസ് ഫോട്ടോ, ആധാര്‍ കാര്‍ഡിന്റെ കോപ്പി, നിലവിലെ മേല്‍വിലാസം തെളിയിക്കുന്ന രേഖ, വെബ് സൈറ്റില്‍ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള മാതൃകയില്‍ ഓങ്കോളജിസ്റ്റ് നല്‍കുന്ന മെഡിക്കല്‍ സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് എന്നിവ അപ്ലോഡ് ചെയ്യണം. സമര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ രേഖകളും വ്യക്തവും സാധുതയുള്ളതും നിര്‍ദ്ദിഷ്ട ഫയല്‍ ഫോര്‍മാറ്റിലുമായിരിക്കണം. അപേക്ഷകന് നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുന്ന വിവരങ്ങള്‍ തെറ്റാണെന്നു പിന്നീട് ബോധ്യപ്പെടുന്ന പക്ഷം കാര്‍ഡ് റദ്ദ് ചെയ്യുകയും നിയമ നടപടികള്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. അപേക്ഷ പരിശോധിച്ച് അംഗീകാരം ലഭ്യമാക്കി, ചീഫ് ഓഫീസില്‍ നിന്നും RFID കാര്‍ഡ് ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട യൂണിറ്റ് ഓഫീസര്‍ മുഖേന അപേക്ഷകന്റെ വീടുകളില്‍ എത്തിക്കും. RFID കാര്‍ഡ് അപേക്ഷകന് നല്‍കിയെന്നും, അപേക്ഷകന്റെ കൈപറ്റ് രസീത് വാങ്ങി ചീഫ് ഓഫീസില്‍ എത്തിച്ചുവെന്നും യൂണിറ്റ് അധികാരി ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തണം. കാന്‍സര്‍ ചികിത്സാ ചിലവില്‍ ആശ്വാസം നല്‍കുന്ന നീക്കമായാണ് കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സിയുടെ നടപടി വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെടുന്നത്.
