The Women and Children’s Hospital at Sultan Bathery Taluk Hospital was inaugurated by Health, Women, and Child Development Minister Veena George.
Speaking at the event, the minister stated that the government is committed to ensuring free treatment for the underprivileged who struggle with the cost of expensive medical care. So far, the state government has allocated ₹1,500 crore for free healthcare.
The minister emphasized that no one should be left helpless due to lack of access to necessary treatment, and both the state government and the Health Department are working toward this goal.
The developmental achievements in the state’s health sector are remarkable.
She also announced that more posts will be sanctioned for Sultan Bathery Taluk Hospital.
The minister congratulated all those who work tirelessly in the health sector.
Additionally, she inaugurated the 360-Degree Metabolic Disease Management Centre, Poly Dental Clinic, Geriatric Ward, Physiotherapy and Habilitation Units, Phacoemulsification Machine, and Senior Citizen–Differently Abled Friendly Centres at the Taluk Hospital.
സുൽത്താൻ ബത്തേരി താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ സ്ത്രീകളുടെയും കുട്ടികളുടെയും ആശുപത്രിയുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ആരോഗ്യ-വനിതാ ശിശു വികസന വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി വീണാ ജോർജ്ജ് നിർവഹിച്ചു. ചെലവേറിയ ചികിത്സകൾക്കായി ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുന്ന നിസ്സഹായരായവർക്ക് സൗജന്യ ചികിത്സ ഉറപ്പാക്കുകയാണ് സർക്കാരെന്ന് ചടങ്ങിൽ സംസാരിക്കവേ മന്ത്രി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാർ 1500 കോടി രൂപയാണ് സൗജന്യ ചികിത്സയ്ക്കായി ഇതുവരെ വിനിയോഗിച്ചത്. ആവശ്യമായ ചികിത്സ ലഭിക്കാതെ ഒരാളും നിസ്സഹായരാവാൻ പാടില്ലെന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെയാണ് സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാറും ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പും മുന്നോട്ട് പോകുന്നത്. സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ആരോഗ്യ മേഖലയിൽ നടപ്പാക്കിയ വികസന നേട്ടങ്ങൾ മികവുറ്റതാണ്. സുൽത്താൻ ബത്തേരി താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ കൂടുതൽ തസ്തികകൾ അനുവദിക്കുമെന്നും മന്ത്രി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ആരോഗ്യ മേഖലയിൽ അക്ഷീണം പ്രയത്‌നിക്കുന്ന മുഴുവൻ ആളുകളെയും മന്ത്രി അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു. താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയിലെ 360 ഡിഗ്രി മെറ്റബോളിക് ഡിസീസ് മാനേജ്‌മെന്റ് സെന്റർ, പോളി ഡെന്റൽ ക്ലിനിക്, വയോജന വാർഡ്, ഫിസിയോതെറാപ്പി – ഹാബിലിറ്റേഷൻ യൂണിറ്റുകൾ, ഫേക്കോ എമൽസിഫിക്കേഷൻ മെഷീൻ, വയോജന – വിഭിന്ന ശേഷി സൗഹൃദ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയും മന്ത്രി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.
